Please note: In the past, we’ve experienced situations where individuals other than the account holder have attempted to check in, leading to confusion and, unfortunately, property damage. This step is now part of our standard house rules and is not meant to be invasive — it’s simply a precaution to help ensure a secure and smooth experience for both guests and hosts. For your privacy, once the ID is visually verified, you’ll have about 10 minutes to delete the image from the chat, so that no personal information remains stored in the message thread. If you wish to invite someone to the property, you must request prior approval. Unauthorized guests or visitors may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund. Additionally, please note: If we become aware that more than two guests are staying in the unit, an additional $50 per person, per night fee will be charged for each unauthorized guest. Continued violation may result in cancellation without refund. DISCLAIMER: Please be aware that you are renting only our unit. We are not responsible for outside public areas. Although we advertise our property as having a swimming pool and spa, these amenities are maintained exclusively by our Homeowners Association (HOA). If for any reason these facilities are out of service or closed for maintenance, we assume no responsibility or liability for such circumstances. --- Starter Supplies We provide initial starter supplies. Since there is no daily housekeeping, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional items they may need during their stay. --- Boca Ciega Rules and Regulations for Renters Smoking Smoking is strictly prohibited on condo balconies under all circumstances. “Smoking” includes burning, inhaling, exhaling, or possessing any lit or heated product (e.g., cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, hookahs, vaporizers). Violation of this rule constitutes a nuisance under the Boca Ciega Declaration of Condominium and may result in fines of $100 per day. Designated smoking areas are available, including the grill area. --- Balconies Do not hang clothing or towels from balconies. Barbecuing on the balcony is not allowed. --- Garbage Trash must be disposed of in the dumpsters located at each end of the building. Do not place garbage in the trash bin near the elevator. --- Pool and Hot Tub Rules No glass containers allowed. No diving or running. Pool and hot tub close at sunset. No smoking in or around the gated pool area. Individuals who are incontinent or not fully potty trained must wear waterproof swimwear. No nudity in any common area, including the pool and hot tub. Do not use soap, shampoo, conditioner, or other hygiene products in the pool or hot tub. --- Noise and Disturbances Avoid loud noises and disruptive behavior. No loud music, instruments, or sound equipment after 10 PM. No music lessons or amplified performances at any time. --- Fishing Dock The dock is for fishing and relaxing only. No boats are allowed to be docked overnight. Owners and their guests may use the dock briefly for loading/unloading only. --- Parking Commercial vehicles, trailers, and boats may not be parked overnight.
